| When you use e-Photo for the first time, you will go directly to the User Information so your messages will automatically carry information about who you are. |

| The fields in the User Info window are obvious, just fill out the appropriate values for your Name, Company, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone, Fax and e-mail. It is important to include the company or Department name because the ftp manager uses the this information to name the folder that is created on the server when the job is received. It is also important to fill out the e-mail address correctly because the Beehive ftp manager will use this address for sending receipts (confirming successfully transmitted jobs). Use a tab to move from field to field in the User Setup window. Licensing the Software with a Serial Number The bottom of the User Setup window has a field called "Serial#". This is where you may enter the license number provided. If Beehive ftp forms is run without a valid license number, it will not transfer the files to the ftp server when the connection is made. You will be operating Beehive under the site license of Johns Hopkins University and the license number should already be entered. When the Beehive ftp forms application is first launched, the license number should be automatically loaded and will appear in the user information window. If for some reason, this field is blank, you will need to call us at 410-955-3843. |

| This could mean that your installation process did not work properly. The serial number for e-Photo (should you accidentally erase it) should be: 794370459704 When you are done, you may save your changes by clicking OK. Clicking Cancel closes the window without saving your changes. |

| After filling out the User Setup form you will be at the main Beehive FTP Forms Window. To get to this window later, you will need to launch the E-photo software. This can be accomplished one of two ways: either by dragging files or folders onto the Beehive ftp forms icon (or the alias for Mac users or the shortcut for Windows users) or by double-clicking on the icon. For Windows users, you can find the program by clicking on the Start button and then go to Programs. There you will see the folder icon of Beehive. When your cursor is paced over that you will see the icon for Beehive FTP Forms. Click on that icon to launch the program. Return to top |

| In many environments, the e-Photo sender is using the same form over and over. In cases like this, it is efficient to select a default form for auto-selection whenever files or folders are dragged and dropped onto the Beehive ftp forms icon. When you drag files or folders onto the Beehive ftp forms icon, and E-Photo has a default form selected, the program will open directly to the default form window with the dragged and dropped folders listed as attachments. Just fill out the form and click "send" to complete the transfer. |

| In a multiple forms environments such as E-Photo, the sender needs to make a choice of which form he needs to use after he has dragged files onto the Beehive ftp forms icon. Beehive ftp forms has an "Ask User" option that will prompt the user for which form to use after they have dragged a folder onto the icon. After the user selects the form from the "Startup Form" window that pops open - Beehive ftp forms will open directly to the selected form window with the default ftp site name in the "To:" field and the dragged and dropped folders listed as attachments. Just fill out the form and click "send" to complete the transfer. |

| The Beehive FTP Forms window also has an Auto Quit after Send checkbox that will automatically quit the application when it is done sending files. |

| If you double-click on the Beehive ftp forms icon, then the application will open and display the "Beehive FTP Forms" Window. To proceed into offline form preparation, select a form from the popup button and then click on Open Form - the selected form window will open with the default ftp site selected as the destination in the "To:" field and with no files attached. Selecting Forms from the Menu bar You may also launch forms by selecting New from the "Forms" menu. If multiple forms are available they will be listed in a hierarchical list. After the form has been selected, either from the menu, or by default during drag and drop, or by selection from the popup list of the welcome window, the E-Photo form window will open and display the selected form in a scrollable panel. |

Use this form if you need large format posters created from your file(s). You have the option of choosing any size up to 48 on the short side. We can process CorelDraw, Freehand, Adobe Illustator, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Quark Xpress, or we can accept JPG, GIF, and TIF files. |
| 35mm Slides | Use this form if you need 35mm color slides created from your files. We can process ClarisDraw, Corel Presentations, CorelDraw, Freelance, Freehand, Adobe Illustator, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Quark Xpress, or we can accept JPG, GIF, and TIF files. |
| Canon Prints | Use this form if you need color paper copies createdfrom your files. You have the option of choosing one of three paper sizes; letter, 8 1/2 by 11; legal, 8 1/2 by 14 and tabloid, 11 by 17 or oversize, 12 by 18. We can process ClarisDraw, Corel Presentations, CorelDraw, Freelance, Freehand, Harvard Graphics, Adobe Illustator, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Quark Xpress, or we can accept JPG, GIF, and TIF files. |
| Digital Prints | Use this form if you need photographs created from your files. You have the option of choosing Noritsu Mini-lab with the following sizes available: 4x6, 5x7, 8x6, 8x10, 11x8.5, 11x14, or 12x18. We process from Photoshop files at 300 dpi with the image at one of the actual sizes above. Or you can select our Fuji Printer which allows you to use ClarisDraw, Corel Presentations, CorelDraw, Freelance, Freehand, Harvard Graphics, Adobe Illustator, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Quark Xpress, or we can accept JPG, GIF, and TIF files. |
| Dyesub Prints | Use this form if you need high quality color prints created from your Photoshop files. You have the option of choosing one of three paper sizes; letter, 8 1/2 by 11; oversized, 8 1/2 by 12 and oversized, 9 1/2 by 14. | This information will be automatically filled in for you from the data you entered with User Setup. You can choose the options of Mr., Mrs., Ms. and Dr. with the drop selection button. Your name is the name which the final work will be filed. Email address is important because you will recieve an automatic notification after using e-Photo. Your address will provide the basis for e-Photo to store your files. Although your phone number will be auto-loaded, you will need to enter your beeper number each time. Return to top |
| This section provides the information on how you wish to pay for the jobs being submitted. Each time you use e-Photo, you have the option of chosing a form of payment. If you have a JHMI budget number and wish to use that, just enter the number in the provided blank. If you have an outside account number given to you by Path Photo, then enter that number in the blank next to the label, Path Photo Outide Account. You may also select either MasterCard or VISA for payment. Since this is not what we would consider a secure site, you do not need to enter your account information, that will be gathered when you pick up your finished job. The same is true for customers planning to pay by cash or check. |
